Airbrushes are miniature, precision pneumatic tools designed for the highly controlled atomization and spraying of liquid paints using compressed air. They are extensively utilized in fine art (airbrushing), scale modeling (painting plastic models), custom automotive and motorcycle graphics, body art, makeup application, nail design, and even culinary arts. Thanks to an ultra-fine nozzle (typically ranging from 0.15 mm to 0.8 mm), an airbrush allows the user to create seamless color transitions (gradients), paint the most intricate micro-details, and achieve photorealistic effects that are entirely impossible to replicate with a traditional brush or a standard spray gun. Based on their trigger mechanism, they are classified into single-action and dual-action models (where the artist can independently control both airflow and paint volume simultaneously). When selecting an airbrush, critical parameters include the nozzle diameter, paint feed type (gravity, siphon, or side feed), and the fluid cup capacity. Please note that operating an airbrush requires pairing it with a specialized, low-pulsation mini air compressor.
