Rotary Hammers

Rotary hammers (or SDS drills) are powerful, hand-held percussive power tools specifically engineered for drilling holes in extremely hard materials such as reinforced concrete, masonry, brick, and natural stone. Unlike standard hammer drills, a rotary hammer is equipped with an electro-pneumatic impact mechanism that independently generates massive striking force, significantly reducing the physical strain on the operator. This tool is absolutely indispensable on any construction site, during major renovations, or when installing electrical wiring, plumbing, and heavy-duty anchors. Most modern models feature three distinct operating modes: rotation only (for drilling wood and metal), hammer drilling (for concrete), and chiseling/hammer only (for light demolition or chasing channels).
